“I believe music is more than a singular discipline, it is a vast art form, because it enhances other pieces of art; a film scoret, ambiance in an art gallery, a Broadway musical. I encourage young musicians to embrace diversifying their constantly changing music tastes. Reflecting on music from the past as they prepare for a future in the music industry. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing young people grow as musicians and as human beings. Music can change the world because it can change people. That’s what I strive for my students.”
