Booker High Open House

Each year we offer families and students an opportunity to get on our campus to see what the buzz is all about! Open house events give you a chance to see our state-of-the-art facilities in our VPA wing, learn about the school’s unique offerings like our AICE program and our College and Career Resource Room, take tours of the entire campus, and meet faculty and students. Don’t miss this opportunity to see for yourself the immense opportunities Booker High School has to offer!

Upcoming Open House: TBA

Shadowing

As Sarasota County’s first magnet program, we have offered incoming students “shadow” opportunities for decades. This unique experience allows future students a chance to live a “day in the life.” A current student in your area of interest will act as a guide through a complete day at Booker High School. This includes the VPA classes, academic classes, lunch and more so that our future students have a clear vision of their life as a Booker Tornado.

Tours

Interested in a personalized tour? We do that too! It is important to us that you see the school and our programs the way we do and that you have the ability to get all your questions answered. Tours can be scheduled throughout the week.
