Kingdom of Solitaire

Deal yourself into this new musical by Scott Keys (book & lyrics) and Johnnie Mnich (score), which explores arbitrary divisions in society using a deck of cards as the symbol for division. We follow Dex, a self-proclaimed king of solitaire, who is called upon to unite a fractured world of unrest between suits. As he explores the baselessness of the divisions he witnesses, Dex comes to learn about how solidarity trumps solitaire and about the value of belonging.
